Jet2 has confirmed a 72-hour rule for passengers with flights booked, adding a new functionality in its mobile app that delivers live flight times, flight statuses, and related updates starting 72 hours before departure. The feature launched on June 22 and is meant to give customers accurate, up-to-date information quickly. In addition to tracking flights three days prior, travelers can use the app to find details on meeting their Jet2 “in-resort Customer Helper,” including the helper’s name and visit times and locations. Jet2 also cites its earlier “Live Transfer Status” tool, letting customers monitor coach transfers back to the departure airport in real time on routes including the Balearics, Canaries, Mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Bulgaria, with expansion to Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Faro and Madeira.
