Daniil Medvedev calls out rivals and asks 'who do you think you are?' - AOL

Daniil Medvedev says the behavior of some rivals has left him asking, “Who do you think you are?” The 30-year-old, who was a breakout prospect on the tour and played the inaugural Next Gen Finals in 2017 alongside Andrey Rublev and Denis Shapovalov, has since built a major career. He won the 2021 US Open, reached world No. 1, and has added 23 other titles, including the ATP Finals and six Masters 1000s. Now the oldest man in this week’s top 10, Medvedev says he’s willing to be a sounding board for younger players. He distinguishes between those he chooses to help and players who give or seek advice unasked, adding that he tries to avoid being that kind of person.
