Debate whether Prince Harry should cancel his UK trip
Debate has intensified over whether Prince Harry should cancel his upcoming UK trip after new details emerged about security and risk management arrangements. Although Meghan joined Harry at the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, their children, Archie and Lilibet, have not visited the UK since June 2022. Doubts were raised last week after reports said the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC) had “paused” an independent Risk Management Board (RMB) without explanation. After Harry’s request for taxpayer-funded security was denied last month, reports suggest he and his family will likely travel with his own security team, described by a source as one of two options. The Sussexes are also said not to be flying to the UK on a private jet.
