Delta Air Lines Cancels 7 Nonstop Routes From Major Hub: See Affected Flights Now
xCruzo Brief
Delta Air Lines has cut seven nonstop routes from its Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP) hub during 2026, with all cancellations occurring in April or September. Cirium data shows Delta schedules an average of 2,266 flights per week from Minneapolis, where overall airline operations are up 1.1% year over year. In April, Delta ended services to St. Maarten (SXM), Mazatlán (MZT) and Tulum (TQO), citing weaker-than-expected demand and strong competition from low-cost carriers such as Sun Country. In September, four additional routes were discontinued: Williston (XWA), Marquette (MQT), Great Falls (GTF) and Wilmington (ILM).
