Devastating text co-pilot sent to boyfriend seconds before horror plane crash

A text message sent by co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras minutes before the Learjet crash in Palm Beach County has been reported, with authorities investigating the accident that killed nine people. Filgueiras, 20, was scheduled to turn 21 in January. Her mother, Camila Corteleti, said the flight departed Austin, Texas, for the Bahamas and that Filgueiras told her boyfriend that the aircraft had encountered “turbulence” and “ice.” The co-pilot allegedly sent six final words about 10 minutes before impact: “I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice.” Floriday Governor Ron DeSantis said no immediate reports indicated casualties on the ground, and about 600 residents were evacuated to support the FAA and NTSB investigation.
