Direct to the Alps': easyJet brings new winter route to Newquay

easyJet's 'Direct to the Alps' route opens a winter link from Newquay to Geneva, giving Cornwall residents direct access to the Alps. The seasonal service runs weekly on Saturdays from January 16 to February 2027, with fares from £37.99 and tickets on sale now. This will be Newquay's first international service and the sole direct winter connection to Switzerland, aligning with ski-season demand. Officials from Cornwall Airport Newquay and easyJet say the route strengthens regional connectivity and supports Cornwall's tourism appeal.
