Embraer will showcase the Ipanema 203 at Brazil’s Agricultural Aviation Congress, holding a demonstration flight in Goiás from August 18 to 20. The aircraft will be presented to operators, farmers and other participants as part of discussions on how to raise farm productivity while maintaining operational safety. Embraer says the Ipanema is Brazil’s best-selling cropduster with more than 50% market share in its segment and that it has operated for more than 20 years using ethanol. Powered by ethanol, it is marketed as capable of spraying more than 200 hectares per hour and helping prevent pest spread via soil contact, with yield gains up to 15 bags per hectare depending on conditions.
