Firefly cancels all flights between Seletar and Subang airports amid haze
xCruzo Brief
Firefly cancelled all flights between Singapore’s Seletar Airport and Malaysia’s Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang from Oct 10 to 12 due to haze, the airline said. In a response to media queries on Oct 11, the Malaysian low-cost carrier listed the specific cancellations across three days, covering Seletar-to-Subang and Subang-to-Seletar services. Passengers will be reallocated to Malaysia Airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Changi Airport, subject to seat availability. Those who do not take the rebooked options are eligible for a full refund credited back to the original payment within 30 working days. The airline said the move was a proactive safety precaution amid low visibility.
