On July 22 in Farnborough, England, Reuters reported that Flynas agreed to purchase five additional Airbus A330-900 jets and 20 more A321neo aircraft, with Airbus announcing the deal. The new agreement lifts Flynas’s A330neo commitment to 20 aircraft and its A321neo total to 56. With these additions, the airline’s overall firm commitment for Airbus jets increases to 235. The transaction reflects demand growth in the Kingdom as the low-cost carrier scales its network, while positioning it against other regional operators pursuing fleet expansion.
