Game 9: Winnipeg Jets vs St. Louis Blues pre-game report

Winnipeg Jets hit the road for a two-game Central Division set, starting tonight in St. Louis against the Blues before Thursday’s matchup in Dallas. The contest comes as Winnipeg tries to snap a two-game skid that includes an overtime loss to Chicago and a regulation defeat to Carolina. The backdrop is also Connor Hellebuyck’s situation: Elliotte Friedman reported Saturday that the goaltender’s suspension ends Friday, and the team is looking past the noise as players and coaches focus on the game. Josh Morrissey and Vlad Namestnikov are sidelined, and Brayden Yager won’t play from the start after being an extra at practice. Morning skate lines keep the same pairings; Stuart Skinner starts. Puck drop is 7 PM CT.
