A pilot in the US turned a flight route into a large-scale artwork: a flight path across Oklahoma and Arkansas on September 18 traced the outline of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa in the sky. According to flight data, the aircraft remained airborne for nearly four hours, starting from Bentonville, Arkansas. The pilot flew a Cessna R182 Skylane RG registered to Benjamin McDaniel, an aviator and artist who posts aerial drawings. A 3D visualization from AirNav Radar showed the portrait gradually forming after takeoff. The design quickly went viral on social media after being shared online.
