Greece won't get Israeli source code for €3B Achilles Shield
xCruzo Brief
Greece will not receive Israel’s source code for the command-and-control system that underpins its new €3 billion Achilles Shield air defense network, Israel’s Missile Defense Organization head said. The decision complicates Athens’ plans to independently operate and upgrade the system that will sit at the core of Greece’s air defenses. The arrangement reflects a broader deepening relationship between European governments and Israel’s defense industry, even as some key technical access remains restricted.
