Indra unveils its new drones for the Armed Forces at the UNVEX trade fair
Indra will showcase its new tactical drone offerings for Spain’s Armed Forces at the UNVEX trade fair in San Javier, Murcia, on September 16 and 17. The company plans two flight demonstrations of its TARSIS drones, with a delivery commitment of 147 units to the Spanish Armed Forces. Under the SANTAM programme, Indra aims to support Spain’s autonomy in developing and manufacturing Class I drones up to 150 kilos for surveillance and reconnaissance in modern conflicts. The programme will culminate in initial deliveries of 49 UAS systems and 147 TARSIS drones. Indra will also display variants including TARSIS-W, capable of conventional take-off and light weapon carriage, and TARSIS-VTOL for vertical take-off and landing. Additional products include the low-cost SQUALL missile, the DRIZZLE effector family, and anti-drone solutions combining fixed and mobile systems, alongside panel discussions by executives.
