Jets lose Manitoba product David Onyemata for several weeks

The New York Jets will be without wide receiver Arian Smith for the entire season after he underwent surgery for a torn ACL. The team placed Smith, a fourth-round pick from last year, on injured reserve Tuesday, and coach Aaron Glenn confirmed Wednesday that he won’t return this season.
