Concerns over flight rerouting in Sonoma County have surfaced after residents reported a temporary drop in jet noise, while critics allege the changes may be linked to Bohemian Grove. The shift followed a July 7 FAA notice to airmen (NOTAM) referencing “Bohemian Grove,” warning of potential protocol changes for July 9–12, 16–19, and 23–26. The FAA said adjustments were made at the Oakland Air Route Traffic Control Center to maximize safety due to increased traffic. Sonoma County Supervisor Lynda Hopkins said it “looks like corruption” and questioned why changes appear during the annual camp.
