Manchester Airport shares 'take advantage' update for passengers
Manchester Airport is encouraging passengers to use “twilight bag drop” services offered by multiple airlines, allowing hold luggage to be checked the day before travel. The airport noted that busy security queues can force some travellers to arrive either too early or rush at the last minute, and online check-in has helped reduce friction, but luggage handling can still be a pain point. On X, Manchester Airport said passengers flying with Virgin, TUI, Jet2, easyJet or Ryanair can drop bags during evening time windows, with the added perk of free parking at specific car parks. Terminal 2 twilight hours include Virgin from 4pm–8pm and easyJet 6pm–9pm, while Terminal 3 lists Ryanair 7pm–10pm. Similar options are available at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
