MONEY FM 89.3 Vietnam Explores Sustainable Aviation Fuel Development at International Conference in Hanoi, Business and Personal Finance Radio station in Singapore
Vietnam’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel push took center stage in Hanoi as MONEY FM 89.3 Vietnam explored SAF development at an international conference focused on policy and market creation. Held June 25, 2026 in Hanoi, the event brought together the Global Centre for Green Fuels (GCGF) and the Vietnam Academy of Construction Strategy and Cadres Training (ACST) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, with support from the Asia Pacific Sustainable Aviation Centre (APSAC). Vice Minister Le Anh Tuan said Vietnam is committed to net-zero emissions by 2050 and called for SAF roadmaps tailored to national needs, balancing emissions cuts, energy security, and business competitiveness. The keynote by ICAO’s Asia-Pacific office deputy regional director, Subash S., cited ICAO’s long-term goal of net-zero carbon emissions from international aviation by 2050. Participants discussed certification, technology pathways, supply-chain considerations, and investment opportunities, including potential value-chain roles tied to feedstocks, production and infrastructure.
