Moscow says 60 drones downed, oil refinery site hit

Moscow reports that air defences shot down about 60 Ukrainian drones over the capital, and one drone hit an oil refinery site in Poltavskaya, starting a fire and triggering fuel disruptions. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said there were no injuries, and emergency crews cleared debris as four Moscow airports briefly suspended takeoffs and landings. The Defence Ministry added that roughly 172 drones had been shot down across various regions, underscoring the scale of ongoing attacks. Ukraine has targeted oil industry facilities inside Russia, including depots and refineries, contributing to petrol shortages and higher prices in several areas as authorities respond to the latest strike wave.
