The figure excludes repositioning flights and a separate trip to Doha for the funeral of Qatar’s former emir, estimated at 29 hours of travel. His route totals roughly 59,281 miles (95,403 km) across 21 airports and 16 venues in three host nations, not counting travel to Qatar. On June 26, his busiest day, he flew about 5,772 miles. The jet’s travel also produced environmental pressure, with FIFA pledging to cut emissions by half by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2040, despite using private aviation for top officials.
