American Airlines will add four more Europe-bound flights from Philadelphia International Airport next year, expanding feed from Northwest Arkansas National Airport via direct service to PHL, airport staff confirmed. The new routes are scheduled for the first half of 2026, following an Aug. 27 airline release. Starting March 28, flights will go to Porto, Portugal. Service to Vienna, Austria begins May 6. On May 27, American will offer routes to Barcelona, Spain and to Reykjavik, Iceland. The change is designed to make more European connections easier for travelers flying out of Northwest Arkansas, with the airline estimating the additions will reach more than 20 European destinations once implemented.
