National Airlines Continues Strategic Fleet Expansion with Delivery of Second Boeing 777F
National Airlines has delivered its second Boeing 777 Freighter, marking a pivotal milestone in its strategic fleet expansion focused on long-haul cargo. The aircraft, tail number N792CA, arrived from the Boeing production facility in Everett, Seattle, on May 26, 2026, reinforcing the carrier’s ability to serve a broader range of international charter cargo missions. This delivery follows the April 2026 introduction of the first 777 Freighter during a milestone delivery event attended by leadership, partners, and customers. The airline has signaled its intention to add more capacity in the coming months, with plans to welcome a third and fourth 777 Freighter soon.
The Boeing 777-200 Freighter is among the world's most advanced long-range cargo aircraft, and National's current fleet now includes two 777 freighters, nine B747 freighters, and passenger aircraft such as the A330-300 and A330-200. National Airlines Chairman Christopher Alf applauded the milestone, thanking the Maintenance and Operations teams and the Boeing team for leadership, partnership, and support throughout the fleet expansion program. The airline reiterates its commitment to delivering customized global charter cargo solutions across governmental programs, defense projects, e-commerce, automotive, oil-field logistics, temperature-controlled shipments, live animal movements, and humanitarian aid. With the second 777 Freighter in service, National positions itself to strengthen its international reach and service offerings.
