Norwegian launches new route from Edinburgh to Billund, Denmark
Norwegian has launched a new direct route from Edinburgh to Billund, Denmark, adding its fourth non-stop connection from the Scottish capital to the Nordics. The airline says the service will make it easier for Danes to visit Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands, while also targeting Scots travelling to Billund, one of Scandinavia’s most popular family destinations. Billund is promoted for attractions including LEGOLAND and the LEGO House, alongside waterparks, wildlife zoos and cycling-friendly countryside. Norwegian frames the move as part of broader growth from Billund, where it is launching 10 new routes to destinations across Europe. In September, the airline increased summer capacity from UK cities including London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Newcastle with year-round direct flights to Nordic capitals and key cities.
