Passengers urged to act 12 hours before flights this summer
Jet2 is urging passengers to check the airline’s website at least 12 hours before departure during a hectic summer of overseas travel. The guidance directs travellers to the “Travel information” section to review updates, times and the status of their specific flight by selecting departure and arrival airports or entering a flight number. Jet2 also recommends arriving at the airport a minimum of two hours before the scheduled departure time, noting that check-in desks close 40 minutes prior. The airline says its UK-based Operations teams will work behind the scenes if disruption occurs. Jet2 additionally flagged the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) for non-EU passport holders, starting a new immigration process impacting trips to many European destinations, and said that any delays are outside its control.
