PDW Eyes Supplying Parts To Support U.S. Production Of One Million Drones Annually - Defense Daily

Defense Department financing could significantly scale drone component production in the U.S. Performance Drone Works (PDW) says it has received a conditional $820 million loan commitment aimed at expanding its capacity and capabilities to make key parts for small unmanned aircraft systems. The company’s chief executive expects the deal to be finalized within the next three to six months. After approval, PDW estimates it will take about two additional years to further expand operations, boost production capacity, and hire the talent needed to support domestic manufacturing at a target of one million small UAS systems annually.
