Pilot writes 'I'm bored' in sky during flight from Liverpool

A pilot wrote “I’m bored” in the sky during a two-hour test flight from Liverpool, using a flight path that appeared on an online tracking app. The Ravenair aircraft departed at 11:30 BST on Saturday and flew around the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire, and North Wales, before landing back on Merseyside at 13:30 BST, according to flightradar24. Ravenair said a flying instructor in his 20s took the Piper Tomahawk for the test after a part was replaced. Operation manager Wayne Barrett said the cylinder component needed changing and the flight confirmed everything was OK. He added the pilot was “not in trouble,” and the aircraft is now back in the hangar.
