Plane passenger, 28, found dead in her seat after four-hour flight

A 28-year-old woman was found dead in her seat after a four-hour Volaris flight ended in Chiapas, Mexico, local outlet Diario del Sur reported. The incident came to light only as passengers were disembarking early Wednesday morning, when fellow travelers realized she wasn’t moving. The flight departed from Tijuana and, according to the report, the trip went smoothly until the end. Video taken inside the airport showed staff carrying the woman off the aircraft on what appeared to be a sheet. She was unresponsive when it was her turn to leave. An autopsy is underway, with preliminary findings suggesting death linked to cardiorespiratory arrest. Volaris did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
