Pollock denies he has signed new Saints deal and says he is open to move abroad

Henry Pollock says he has not signed a new contract with Northampton Saints yet and is “open to every opportunity,” including playing abroad and even trying other sports. The 21-year-old flanker remains widely expected to stay at Franklin’s Gardens, but he declined to confirm his intentions beyond the end of the season. Pollock has been offered a pay rise of more than £400,000 a year to remain with the English champions until 2029, with Eddie Hearn describing him as a “seven-figure player.” Pollock acknowledged he is willing to be “selfish” to maximize his earning potential. Northampton’s director of rugby Phil Dowson said an agreement is “getting closer” and the club will begin defending its title against Newcastle on Friday, Sept. 25.
