Punches thrown as mid-air brawl erupts on flight to UK
A brawl broke out on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight bound for London, with punches exchanged before cabin crew intervened to regain control. The incident involved two passengers aboard the aircraft traveling from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London on Thursday, 17 September, according to media reports. Footage described a confrontation that began as a disagreement and escalated into physical fighting, with one man in a black T-shirt leaning over a seat and striking another passenger. The altercation led to alarm among other travelers, including children and elderly passengers, and a passenger later recorded and shared video on social media. Biman’s public relations general manager Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the flight departed Sylhet and that crew resolved the situation, while the cause and any injuries were not disclosed.
