Qantas A380 from San Francisco to Melbourne to bring 49ers

Qantas is using an A380 to fly the San Francisco 49ers from San Francisco to Melbourne ahead of their season-opening game against the Los Angeles Rams at the MCG on September 11. The chartered flight, AF6001, arrived in San Francisco Thursday morning and departed Thursday afternoon, landing in Melbourne the next morning. The Rams arrive in Melbourne the day before the match. Qantas’ A380 configuration includes 14 first-class and 70 business-class seats. The article says the aircraft is stocked with larger-sized pyjamas for the long-haul trip. Qantas announced an NFL partnership in April as its official airline partner in Australia and New Zealand. Kick-off is 10.35am local time.
