Qantas highlights nonstop demand as it shows off cabin designs for A350-1000ULR

Qantas's Project Sunrise cabin concept for the A350-1000ULR centers on nonstop Sydney-to-London service, with a four-class, 238-seat arrangement that includes 6 first-class suites, 52 business suites, 40 premium-economy seats, and 140 in economy. Chief Executive Cam Wallace noted that Perth-to-London nonstop experience delivered sustained uplift in unit revenues, supporting the case for nonstop Sydney-London. The aircraft aims for about an 85% premium-cabin load factor on the Sydney-London route.

Caon Design Office led the interior, balancing weight savings with durability and considering practical touches such as a champagne-table for photos. The cabin will also feature a wellbeing zone between premium economy and economy, with lighting tuned to circadian rhythms and a seamless day-night progression.
