Romanian airline Dan Air to launch direct Bucharest-Aleppo flights in July
Romanian airline Dan Air will begin operating direct scheduled flights between Bucharest and Aleppo from July 1, Damascus announced through the Syrian Civil Aviation and Air Transport Authority. The launch is part of efforts to expand air connectivity with European countries and support air transport to and from Syria, facilitating passenger movement and boosting economic and tourism exchange. The Civil Aviation Authority says it is expanding the network to improve travel and support Syrian communities abroad. The route reflects growing confidence in the safety of Syrian airspace and the ability of national airports to receive international flights in line with approved technical standards. The announcement underscores ongoing efforts to broaden international air links.
