Royal Jordanian Airlines Launches Flights to Tashkent
Royal Jordanian Airlines has launched regular passenger service on the Amman–Tashkent–Amman route on 1 June 2026, connecting the capitals of Jordan and Uzbekistan with direct flights. The carrier will operate the service twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays. A formal opening ceremony took place in Tashkent with participation from Sanjar Tadjiev, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee; Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Jordanian; and representatives from Tashkent International Airport and both countries’ tourism sectors. Royal Jordanian says the route is expected to support tourism and business links, and to make travel easier for tourists, organized tour groups, and citizens visiting relatives. The airline also noted that the route can feed Uzbekistan traffic from third states through its network. It adds that the new flights align with Uzbekistan’s “Central Asian Tourism Ring” initiative, supporting access to Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.
