Royal Jordanian Launches Direct Flights to Vienna and Continues Strengthening Its Presence in Europe
Royal Jordanian Airlines will launch direct flights between Amman and Vienna to strengthen its European network. The new route begins effective Wednesday, 24 June, operating four weekly flights from Queen Alia International Airport to the Austrian capital. The airline said the service will use its latest aircraft, featuring in-flight Wi‑Fi and advanced entertainment systems. Vice Chairman and CEO Samer Majali framed the launch as part of a broader strategy to increase the carrier’s share in Europe, one of its key markets, while supporting Jordan’s tourism goals. He added that Vienna, described as a major European hub, improves air connectivity to central Europe and enables onward connections through Amman to destinations across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
