Ryanair slam 'morons' after arson attack on staff homes
Ryanair condemned arson attacks on seven staff rental homes in Fosterstown Swords, calling those responsible “morons.” The airline confirmed that the incidents occurred Monday evening and involved placing burning items, described as wheelie bins set alight, in front of the doors of seven properties rented and occupied by Ryanair’s Irish and EU staff. Ryanair said the vandalism was reported to An Garda Síochána and thanked Gardaí and the Dublin Fire Brigade for a prompt response that limited damage. A spokesperson said no employees were harmed, though staff were “unnerved,” and that the company is working with police on the investigation. Gardaí reported they attended the scene in the early hours of Tuesday, 23 June, with no injuries reported, and investigations are ongoing.
