Saturday's Packers Roster Moves: What They Mean for Sunday at Buccaneers

The Green Bay Packers made three veteran offensive-line signings this week, but none were added to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mekhi Becton, signed to the practice squad, will remain there after being expected to ramp up following a torn labrum. The team also placed defensive tackle Warren Brinson on injured reserve on Saturday, leaving no other roster move. With starting linebacker Edgerrin Cooper clearing concussion protocol after full participation on Friday, there’s no need to elevate practice-squad linebacker Kristian Welch. On the defensive front, both Brinson and Anthony Campbell were ruled out, limiting depth as Green Bay prepares a five-man rotation of starters against Tampa.
