The case, first shared on TikTok by user Nicole (@nicole_rose1), involved a flight from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to New York City and drew more than 112,000 views. She said she selected the Choice Extra fare, priced about $300 more, but the seat-selection screen showed extra-legroom seats as unavailable. Switching to Choice Preferred reportedly brought them back, though with an additional payment.
