Seasonal nonstop flights to destination in Mexico now offered at San Diego airport
xCruzo Brief
Alaska Airlines announced seasonal nonstop service between San Diego International Airport and Loreto International Airport, adding a new direct option to Mexico for local travelers. The route, which San Diego airport officials say will become the airline’s 50th destination from San Diego, will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights are scheduled to run from Dec. 19, 2026, through April 28, 2027. The new service expands access to Baja California Sur without a connection and will make San Diego the fourth U.S. airport offering nonstop international service to Loreto. Alaska says tickets are already available, with the launch timed just ahead of the winter travel season.
