The display kicked off the second rugby Test with fireworks beneath, but the New Zealand-themed aircraft nearly involved a collision before lifting its tail at the last moment. Flight Radar confirmed that one plane dropped to about 12–14 metres above the stadium roof. The incident sparked social media outrage, with users calling it dangerous, while Airlink defended it afterward as “Planning. Precision.
