The $3bn furniture brand, has moved into Mayfair
RH, the American furniture and home furnishings brand behind Restoration Hardware, has moved into Mayfair with the opening of “RH London, The Gallery” at No 7 Burlington Gardens. The Palladian mansion, an 18th-century property that previously housed a bank and an Abercrombie & Fitch outlet, along with two adjoining Grade II-listed buildings, is set to open on 27 June. The launch is part of RH’s rapid European expansion that began in 2023 with RH England at Aynho Park near the Northamptonshire-Oxfordshire border, followed by openings in Madrid, Brussels, Düsseldorf and Munich, and major flagships in Paris and Milan. RH reported net revenue of $3.44bn for fiscal year 2025, up 8.1% on 2024, and now has nearly 100 stores across the US, Canada and Europe, employing about 7,300 people. Products highlighted include the Cloud sofa and outdoor Brera armchairs, with one outdoor item priced at £1,800, and RH Estates’s Diamond Table starting from £5,310. Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman, 68, said the brand’s aesthetic is “very safe” yet still designed to prompt buyers to ask where the pieces come from.
