This international airline's fast, free Wi-Fi is more reliable than my home connection
A reviewer aboard Hawaiian Airlines flight AS851 from Honolulu to Sydney described a long-haul trip where free, fast Starlink Wi-Fi proved more reliable than their home connection. The flight departs at 12pm five days per week and arrives in Sydney about 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled 6:50pm. The cabin includes Airbus A330 “extra comfort” seats: the first nine rows of the main cabin contain 60 of 68 seats. The reviewer said extra comfort offers five additional inches of legroom versus regular economy, while seat width and recline remain unchanged. They also noted that main-cabin passengers may check one 23kg bag and carry on one 11.5kg bag. Service included multiple rounds of drinks, a snack after takeoff, and a substantial meal later, with similar menus across main cabin and Premium Class. Hawaiian Airlines said its free Wi-Fi is included across the main cabin entertainment system, and attendants were frequently available.
