Titans elevate Mohamoud Diabate, Erick Hallett from practice squad for Week 1

Less than 24 hours before Tennessee’s 2026 NFL season opener against the New York Jets at Nissan Stadium, the Titans made last-minute roster moves by promoting two practice-squad players for Week 1. Tennessee used its maximum of two standard practice squad elevations for linebacker Mohamoud Diabate and DB Erick Hallett. It’s the first of up to three elevations this season for each player. Diabate’s rise is tied to the concussion status of starting LB Cedric Gray. Hallett’s elevation addresses depth issues in the secondary, which has nine players on the 53-man roster, making him the team’s fifth safety and likely a special-teams contributor.
