A threat tied to Iran reportedly prompted a secret aircraft change during President Trump’s travel, according to The Washington Post. The outlet says the switch didn’t change the designation “Air Force One,” which applies to any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the president, but it did change the specific plane protecting him. After flying to Turkey on a jet gifted by Qatar, officials said Trump would return on an older presidential aircraft due to security concerns. Following boarding that older plane, Trump reportedly moved to a smaller Air Force C-32A. All three flights then continued to the U.K., where Trump joined the Qatar aircraft to head home. The Air Force and White House did not immediately comment to Axios.
