UAE airlines offer expanded insurance after Iran conflict

Two of the UAE's largest carriers have launched enhanced travel insurance to restore confidence after the regional tensions reduced air travel. Emirates unveiled extended medical coverage, including protection during conflict, along with cancellations, delays, lost luggage and emergency evacuations. Tim Clarke, Emirates' president, said the expanded coverage would reassure travelers planning to visit Dubai, a major tourist hub. Etihad followed with free medical coverage for international visitors traveling to Abu Dhabi from July through December, aiming to boost inbound tourism amid uncertainty.
