United Airlines Launches 10 Major New Nonstop Routes This Month: See List Now
United Airlines plans to launch or resume 10 major nonstop routes in October across seven US hubs, with most departures aligned to the winter schedule switch around Sunday, October 25. The changes matter because winter slot seasons usually shift launch timing, and several links also expand into markets where United (or United Express) has had little or no presence. Chicago O’Hare (ORD), its busiest hub by movements, will add three connections including the sole long-haul service. Notable first-time United markets include Owensboro, Kentucky, with two daily flights (SkyWest CRJ200), plus Los Cabos from Washington Dulles (IAD) and Fort Lauderdale from Los Angeles (LAX). United also plans a daily Tokyo Narita service from ORD (787-8/787-9 mix) and a new Moab link from Denver (DEN) up to 13 weekly flights. The IAD–Owensboro route is described as subsidized under Essential Air Service.
