A WestJet passenger allegedly tried to bribe cabin crew for an upgrade to a premium seat on Sunday, November 25, and became verbally aggressive after being refused. The incident occurred on WestJet flight 2555, a scheduled four-hour service from Cancun International Airport (CUN) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The passenger, described as male, approached the flight attendant after takeoff and reportedly offered cash to move to the front of the aircraft. The attendant declined and explained WestJet’s upgrade policy. Crew alerted the captain, monitored the passenger, and the situation calmed without any diversion. WestJet did not provide immediate comment.
