Tail number N908JE was deregistered in October 2019, two months after Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody. Ownership changed after Epstein sold the jet in 2017, and it later went to Jet Assets Incorporated in Wyoming, which acquired it in 2024. Journalists toured the plane in early 2026 and found paperwork and monogrammed items still inside, while mold and mildew had formed. Monthly storage fees close to $1,000 have kept the aircraft intact, though restoration is described as prohibitively costly.
