When are airlines resuming flights to the Middle East?
Airlines are updating plans to resume Middle East routes as disruptions continue after the early-2025 conflict between Iran and America/Israel. The UK government lifted its travel advice against the UAE last week following Donald Trump’s announcement that a peace deal with Iran was “complete,” while airports such as Dubai International had previously closed and thousands of flights were grounded. British Airways has cancelled or temporarily suspended services to destinations including Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Tel Aviv and Riyadh; passengers traveling from June 2 can rebook without a change fee, though fare differences may apply. Doha service is set to resume August 1, with Riyadh, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Bahrain and Amman planned from October 25. Wizz Air fully resumed schedules to Tel Aviv on May 28, but says flights to Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia remain suspended. Other carriers include KLM and Air France suspensions into July and August, and Delta ending Atlanta–Tel Aviv until December 18 while targeting New York–Tel Aviv on September 6.
