Wizz Air to launch direct Bratislava-Baku flights from September 29

Wizz Air will add direct scheduled service between Bratislava and Baku as part of the ongoing route expansion at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Starting September 29, 2026, the European low-cost carrier, described as Europe’s largest LCC, will operate the Bratislava–Baku–Bratislava route twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airport said the new link will strengthen air connectivity between Azerbaijan and Slovakia and create added opportunities for both tourism and business travel. It will also offer passengers more affordable and convenient access to one of Central Europe’s destinations. Tickets are already available via Wizz Air’s official website and other sales channels.
