Al-Bashiri & Al-Hadi discuss mechanisms to support economic empowerment projects in Sana'a

In Sana’a, Acting Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Sam Al-Bashiri and Sana’a Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi chaired a meeting focused on mechanisms to support economic empowerment projects in the governorate. Officials from several ministries, along with the Executive Director of the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Abdullah Al-Atifi, reviewed rural initiatives, particularly cattle breeding and natural milk production. Al-Bashiri highlighted the government’s commitment to mobilize local resources and build a community-based, production-oriented economy, including cooperation between milk producers and dairy factories. He said factories that buy locally produced natural milk would receive incentives. The meeting approved measures to set up a quality and rights-protection cooperation mechanism across the milk value chain, with standards inspectors tasked to assess production lines.
