Buccaneers' Wednesday Injury Report Doesn't Look Good
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into Week 4 still seeking their first win, and their Wednesday injury report is described as crowded. Starting quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to miss at least the next three games due to a dislocated thumb suffered late in last week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan is out for 6-8 weeks with a PCL sprain in his left knee, and while he has already been placed on injured reserve, Tampa reportedly does not plan to do the same with Mayfield, hoping he returns before the four games he would miss if placed on IR. Additional concerns include limited practice for Chris Godwin Jr. (ankle), Ko Kieft (elbow), Rueben Bain Jr. (groin/shoulder), YaYa Diaby and Rakeem Nunuz-Roches, along with limited participation for Bucky Irving, Josiah Trotter, SirVocea Dennis and Keionte Scott.
